Kadens Accomplishments

This week for Kaden has been a week of many accomplishments. He has become mobile. He Gets up on his knees and lunges forward, then gets up on his knees and repeats the process. He has been saying Ma Ma.
Yesterday Ronnie was talking to him and he said, " Kaden why dont you say Da Da?" Kaden sat there with a very thoughtful expression on his face for a minute or so then he said, "Da Da." and that is what he says all the time now. He doesnt say MaMa very much anymore.
This last week we started feeding him some solids. We have been giving him rice cereal once a day in the evening. He has really enjoyed this and done very well with it. Last night he got to try some sweet potatoes mixed in with the cereal. It was so cute! He was chasing the spoon with his mouth because he was so excited to get the food.

Last night at Alco they were having a 20% off sale. So we went and made some purchases. To go along with feeding him solids we bought him a booster chair with tray. He thinks it is really awesome. It is also very nice to be able to have him in there with us so we can eat. As he tends to get really upset when we leave him in the dinning room while we eat.
Yesterday he also learned a new skill while crawling/scooting around. He found a drawer. He reached up and grabbed onto the handle and found out that by pulling it the drawer came out. But better yet if he pushed it, it could slam. So he did that for the next 10 min. I was afraid he would smash his little fingers of the other hand that was helping to slam. But as of yesterday there was no incidents.
It is so amazing how quick this little man is growing up. It is so amazing to watch and see how much they learn. The more they learn the quicker they learn. If only we could all have that vitality and love of life and learning.

He has changed so much. It's amazing how fast they grow. "Da Da" is a better word anyway; I'm glad he got it figured out. Before you know it, he will be crawling all over the house. Exciting. See you at Thanksgiving.
